Hotel & room options

All package prices are per person and are based on two people sharing a room. If you are traveling with a companion and book together, you will automatically be put in the same room. If you book separately but would still like to share with a specific person, simply put the name and/or booking number of your companion in the ‘comments’ section of your booking.

If you are a solo traveller, you will be paired with another traveller of same gender.

Any participants that wish to have a room for themselves can pay a single supplement fee in order to obtain a single room.

Ice-Camp: Pre-Tour

The Ice Camp pre tour will spend the 1st night and the 3rd night at Polar Lodge. A cosy hostel located about 200m from the airport arrival hall in Kangerlussuaq. Toilets and bathrooms are on a shared basis in the hallway. The lodge has a small dining room where breakfast is served, a small kitchen with a stove, refrigerator, and kettle, and a souvenir shop. Free wifi is available in Polar Lodge.
The 2nd night will be in tents in our Ice Camp
We offer a limited number of single rooms at Polar Lodge.
On the Ice it is a shared camping expedition. If you are a solo traveler you will be paired in a tent with a person of your own gender. 

Hotel Icefiord

Hotel Icefiord is a beautiful harbor hotel located in the center of Ilulissat, Greenland. It offers a spectacular view over the panorama of the UNESCO world heritage site of Disko Bay and its crystal-white glaciers. We offer comfortable single or double rooms, equipped with all modern facilities and private bathrooms.
It is also possible to upgrade to a Deluxe Explorer room with big skylight window and private balcony.

Hotel Icefiord is within a 10 minutes walking distance of the Start and Finish Line on Race Night.

Hotel Hvide Falk

Hotel Hvide Falk is a charming hotel located in the center of Ilulissat. It has a spellbinding view of the spectacular Icefjord from all of its rooms and apartment facilities, which are equally equipped to the upmost comfort. We offer three types of accommodation: City View rooms, Bay View rooms and private apartments. Please choose in your booking which one you prefer. 

All City View and Bay View rooms have been renovated in 2022/2023 at the same time as the Reception and Restaurant.

The start of the race is Located 2 minutes walk from Hotel Hvide Falk and the Finish Line is just outside the Hotel entrance. 

Hotel Arctic

Hotel Arctic is a 4-star hotel situated at the shores of the Ilulissat Icefjord. Unsurprisingly, it brings with it magnificent views of the breath taking Disko Bay to rejoice in with your breakfast or morning coffee.  Each room has private bathroom facilities and is equipped with the utmost comfort. We offer Outdoor rooms and Apartments, single or shared.

The 1-bedroom apartments can be used for up to 2 persons.
The 2-bedroom apartments can be used for up to 4 persons.
